A kundli, kundali or Janam Kundli is a Vedic birth chart: a map of the sidereal sky for the exact date, time and place of birth. Planets describe what is acting, signs describe how, houses describe where, and dashas help describe when a theme becomes prominent.

How is Vedic astrology different from Western astrology?
